Would like some guidance on how to apply for a student visa?
I am currently residing in Mexico and would like to apply for a student visa to study in the US, more specifically the University of Colorado. I want to know the costs and the approximate duration of the whole process from start to finish (scheduling the interview,forms,reciving visa), any experieces would be helpfull. Also i already have a visitor visa, would it be possible to do the whole process from inside the US? And i would like a break down of the whole experience if possible! thanks for the help!!!

1. Apply for admission at the U of C as an international student. 2. You will need to supply the university with the financial documentation that they request. 3. If admitted the school will send you an I-20. 4. Apply for an F-1 Student Visa at the closest US consulate in Mexico using the I-120 as proof of your acceptance. 5. You'll be interviewed and, if approved, registered in SEVIS. 6. You get the visa and can travel to the USA up to 30 days before the start of class.
