The city mayor Jose Reyes Ferriz, the Governor Jose Reyes Baeza, neither the president of Mexico Felipe Calderon have said anything about it, not even sent a condolence message to the parents and mourners.

I really think they should declare full scare war on on the cartels and go in and kill them all! And don't stop the war until they have all been captured or killed. I was a party boy from 75-85 and I knew most of the drugs came from Mexico and Columbia. But honestly if I still got high today, I would stop because of what these cocksuckers in Mexico are doing to continue selling and distributing their drugs!

If I have a US student visa, do I need to apply for a visa to Mexico for a 5day vacation?
My boyfriend has a U.S. student visa and wants to come on vacation with my family to Mexico. He's originally from Turkey. Does he need to apply for a tourist visa?

No, if you go to Mexico they automatically stamp you for 6 months.

No need for tourist if its less then 6 months. They'll check the passport at the border and stamp it.

No he does not Mexico allows people to stay in the country for 6 months with no paperwork. All he needs is his passport and student visa to cross the border.

Does his U.S. student visa allow him to leave and reenter the U.S? Not all do. Some of them are issued for one entry into this country only. It never hurts to check with a Consulate or immigration office when in doubt. It would not do for him to leave the U.S. and not be able to get back home. (Many foreign exchange students are issued one-entry student visas to the U.S. He should check to be sure his is not this type.)

It is Mexican immigration he will have to talk with.Of course, he too has to pass through U.S. immigration, or file a deportation card even if Mexico is just the other side of the border. Best, to consult both immigration. Be very careful, America is just itching to throw all illegals outside their border or outside their sea limit. If I were you people, play safe. This is not the right time. Everything is so hot because of the Arizona Law which targets the illegal. What if he lost his passport, or stolen from him, what then. He definitely will be in for more trouble. Postpone it. Its to hot at this time.

YES! Mexican Immigration Laws are a lot stricter than the United States!!! I wish foreigners would quit using our borders as a see-saw, thinking they can bounce from one side to the other anytime they damn well please!!!! When I was in Europe, I had to carry my passport around with me, and when I stayed at a hotel, the management demanded to see my docoments! Even in my own country!

Will my New Mexico Tax Rebate be applied to my defaulted Federal Student Loan?
Citizens in New Mexico will be receiving an additional tax rebate from the state if they filed their 2007 tax returns, here is the link to the website confirming this: www.tax.state.nm.us/rebate.htm My question is this: will my rebate be applied to my defaulted student loan? This happened with my 2007 federal tax return and stimulus check as well. Now, I DID receive my 2007 state return from New Mexico, as it was not applied to my loan. So, is it that only federal tax returns and rebates are applied to student loans or does it also apply to state returns and rebates as well? jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj You don't know the circumstances as to why my loan is defaulted, dont need the high and mighty responses, answer the damn question or go back to your miserable lives, hateful, insignificant detractors! Thanks for the responses, everyone. The hateful detractor comment was to the first 2 people that gave smart a$$ remarks instead of answers to the question.

The way it is supposed to work, the student loan will get it. But frequently the IRS misses things like this. As one hateful, insignificant detractor to another.

In life things happen. A defaulted loan does not make you a bad person. It would be better, however, for you to take care of this before it becomes extremely problematic.
