Do I pay state taxes if I am a NM resident receiving a graduate student stipend from an alaskan university?

Do I pay state taxes if I am a NM resident receiving a graduate student stipend from an alaskan university?
I am a resident of New Mexico in grad school in Alaska. Since Alaska has no state income tax, do I then file state taxes with New Mexico for my research assistant stipend?

I don't believe stipends are taxable. But if you get a W-2 or a 1099, file in Alaska to prove residency. Unless you need to file in NM to qualify for next year's financial aid.

Can International Student cross into US by Car?

Can International Student cross into US by Car?
I am Venezuelan National, With a F-1 Visa and currently enrolled for the next semester. I am going to Mexico for 10 days and returning. Would it be different? Would it be a harder entry? This is my 5th semester but I only entered the US by an airport. What would I need?

With an f-1 visa you should be careful about leaving the country you may not be allowed back in
