Best place to stay in Mexico for a college student?
I've been to Mexico 8 times; 7 in Playa Del Carmen, and once in Cabo San Lucas. All 8 times, I've gone with the family in 5 star all inclusive resorts. I like the weather and the atmosphere of Mexico, but am also considering Cuba. Is cuba nice or cheaper? What is the best place(city/town & resort) for a college student and her boyfriend to go? We're not exactly rich obviously.. so 5 star isn't really an option for us, but we def. want all inclusive. I know American's can't go there, I'm not American though. the city of Guanajuato in the state of Guanajuato, is located in central mexico, there are plenty of museums and beautiful places to visit.

well i know nothing of cuba, but a really cool place in mexico is Sayulita, Nayarit. its just north of Vallarta. but instead of old retirees its a laid back, hash loving, surfer town. The food is a little pricey, but its pretty nice. The small villages around it make for great exploring too... Guanajuato's really nice too. Just a lot of beggars... and some of those tunnels smell like 300 year old human excrement.

i agree guanajuato or queretaro thats where i go when i go to mexico queretaro is located right next to guanajuato
