apply for a visa. You can ask your school to send her a invitation letter for ur graduation. Then, she can apply for the visa easier. My mom did the same thing too.
2 :
Unless your sister has other US immigration documents, she will need to apply at the nearest US foreign mission in Mexico for a B1/B2 visitor's visa. See the following Department of State website for other information: http://mexico.usembassy.gov/eng/evisas.html

Are my peers indirectly supporting the violence in Mexico?

Are my peers indirectly supporting the violence in Mexico?
I am a high school student in Dallas, TX. Marijuana is everywhere. By buying pot from small scale, school drug dealers, are fun loving, harmless students supporting the terrible events in Mexico? What percentage is marijuana out of all the drugs being imported into the U.S.? What percentage of marijuana in the U.S. is grown in the U.S.?

now days with all the border crack down, more is grown over here than ever before like 70% last time i've heard. may be different in TX
2 :
Yes, every time someone is murdered or raped by drug dealers, their blood is on your hands.
3 :
no peers are not supporting violence. the drugs from mexico are coke and hard line drugs. most maryjo is from the USA other countries grow hashish
4 :
This time of the year, almost all mary jane is brought in from mexico. Around September or October, the main US crop us being harvested. But, back to your question, yes, their helping the mexican drug dealers. Shame on them. Hopefully they'll live long enough to regret their actions.
5 :
Yes. Drugs are not sold because someone is interested in making sure that you're having a good time getting high. Drugs are sold to make money. And the money made from drugs does not stop at small time dealers. Drugs are an industry, an underground economy, and you are supporting the entire system even when purchasing from a small scale distributor. Another fact about marijuana is that it is known as a gateway drug which can lead to substances that are addictive, such as alcohol or heroin. A lot of money is made with those substances, so once again, buying marijuana adds to the culture of supporting people who make money from illegal drugs. The problem of supporting a drug economy does not stop at illegal substances. We should also consider the support we give to legal drugs such as tobacco, or even pain killers.

Can a Mexican Student temporarily residing in the US buy and drive an American car?

Can a Mexican Student temporarily residing in the US buy and drive an American car?
I'm an exchange student currently in the United States, and will be here for the next 4 years, I was wondering if I am able to buy and drive an American car, get insured and possibly (since I'm located at the border with Northern Mexico) drive to Mexico and back to the States? If I'm able to buy an American car, can it be with my existing and valid Mexican drivers license, or do I have to get and American drivers license?

If you buy a car built for the American market, you can surely drive it in Mexico. The US has the stricted emissions standards in the world and Mexico's aren't that strict. As far as the license goes, if you are going to be here for 4 years, you should get a state license in the US. Although it is possible to drive on your Mexican license with the proper paperwork, it is less of a hassle for you ever get stopped by an officer.

It's not easy, but it's not too hard either. You will need to gather certain documents - your I-20 form is absolutely necessary, your passport, previous passports, financial documents that verify your ability to pay for your education (bank documents usually), and you need to provide some type of assurance that you will come back to Mexico after finishing your studies. You will need to show them that you have a home in Mexico and close family ties - you may need to show mortgage or property papers for your own or your family's house(s). You may also need to explain why you wish to study in the US and what your professional plans are for the future - how will you use your degree in Mexico? Do some research, but first you will need to get accepted by a US college or university. Si necesitas mas ayuda, puedes contactarme en espanol. Buena Suerte!

yeah, now getting F1 visa is easy. The most important thing is that you have to show them that you can finance your education and living for that period. So, strong financial documentation like bank balance, your parents' support, etc will help you get the visa.

Im a freshman going with a marine biology expedition and my schools dean says that it is safe as long as you follow the rules (travel during daylight hours, stay in groups, don't stop for anything) usually schools are real tight asses when it comes to students being under their watch so i would assume that it is safe enough for now if they are willing to risk global news humiliation, and huge payouts to family's if a student is killed by cartels.

If I go bak to mexico can i get a student visa and go to college?

If I go bak to mexico can i get a student visa and go to college?
just found out im here illegaly and i cant go to college, im 17 though so if i go bak to mexico can i just reapply to my states college and come bak with a visa? or is it a bit more complicated then that. also if i do go bak there, would it be better to sneak out or go to a gov agency being 17 and all. ok now wut if i leave at age 19, wut would i have to do then to go to my college cause i still need to earn the rest here since i dont think im gonna get much over there. haha swine flu f u ck! oh well i guess ill go bak to mexico. i dont even know spanish very well! thats wut i get for being mexican, anyonw know how to survive in mexico? since i know nothing of that place im so confused should i stay or go? i have no one over there and i dont know the language, i got accepted to a university but i cant go cause im here illegaly! which i just found out about. if i stay all that studying will be for nothing! i dont know wut to do anymore :(

Why would you want to go to Mexico? You'll get SWIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNEE FLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
2 :
as long as you leave before 18 years and 6 months, you should be fine...keep in mind that you don't just "tag up", you have to establish an address and everything back there. And if you do get the student visa, make sure you major in something that will get you an H1B when you graduate so you can stay...don't major in art or philosophy or history or TV production...go for engineering or IT.
3 :
You must leave before you turn 18 1/2 to avoid any penalty for being here illegally. If you leave after you turn 19,you will receive a 10 year ban on returning. If you get accepted to a college, you will then receive a student visa to come back. You will have to show proof that you are able to pay the very expensive international student tuition. When your student visa is over, you will have to return to Mexico. A student visa does not get you a green card.
4 :
well, if you leave before you turn 18 1/2, you won't be legally barred from getting a student visa. But, just because you are legally inelgible for the visa, that doesn't mean you'll be approved. chances are pretty good you won't since you've been living in the US illegally for most of your life. if you leave at 19, then, there's no question but that you'll be turned down. at that point, you'll be legally responsible for living in the US for over a year and you'll be legallly ineligible for any visa for 10 years.
5 :
Yes you must leave by 18.5 .. then try to return .. If you leave later then you get the ban for years

Cheap, all-inclusive Mexico resorts for students on spring break?

Cheap, all-inclusive Mexico resorts for students on spring break?
I'm going on senior spring break with my friends and am looking for something cheap (less than $400 a night) in Mexico that's all-inclusive. Anyone had any experiences that were good? Bad?

My husband and I went to Cabo for our honeymoon. We are both 25. We stayed at the Riu Palace and I was very impressed. The place was very nice/clean, but the buffet that was open all the time wasn't awesome. The DINNER selections were nice. We ate Japanese one night, mexican another...few other choices. The drinks were never watered down- we drank a LOT. Sometimes I wished the drinks had a little less alcohol. lol I'm not positive on the per night cost, but for flight AND all inclusive stay at Riu Palace for 7 nights for 2 adults was right under $3,000. I thought that was good for the quality of service we received. I ended up booking the trip through Riu's website. I would definitely book another trip with Riu.

Hola. People seem to believe Cabo is huge. It really isn't. There are only a few all inclusives right in Cabo, but they are good ones. Riu Palace and Riu Sante Fe do most of the spring break business, but there are also others, the Pueblo Bonito and Villa is big spring break resorts - these all are on the spring break beach called Medano, which isn't far from downtown nightclubs etc. If you want really really cheap the Tesoro has an all inclusive option and its right across the street from all the nightclubs. Say less than 100 a night. You can also go 20 minutes out to the other town (san jose del cabo) and get rooms at a resort, and then shuttle, bus, or taxi to the downtown. Look into the Royal Solaris, Crowne Plaza, Mayan Palace, Barcelo, El Presidente to start, or along the way is the Melia Real. All all-inclusives. Good luck.
